Our Leadership
Linda, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, founded Crandall Corporate Dietitians in 1966 and is the CEO. Through the years Linda has been instrumental in developing thorough, comprehensive and cutting edge clinical and management systems for Assisted Living and Long-Term Care communities. The growth and development of the dietitians, the staff who work with her and the dietary personnel in the communities have been her passion. Most important to Linda, however, is her religious convictions and her love for her wonderful family, which includes five children and 29 grandchildren.
As CFO, Rich oversees all finances, marketing, technology and facilities for the company founded by his mother in 1966. Rich graduated summa cum laude with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame after earning a B.S. and Master’s in Accountancy from BYU. He will also graduate in December 2019 with a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Rich is also the Chairman and Founder of CN Resource, a national child nutrition consulting firm that helps oversee USDA programs for State Agencies. In his life outside work and home, Rich was elected to both the Arizona State Senate and the Arizona House of Representatives and he was appointed by Governor Matt Mead to be the Director of Education for the great State of Wyoming. Rich is married to Leann Crandall and together they have 13 children.
As Chief Operating Officer, Jon has many responsibilities within Crandall. He provides primary oversight of assisted living operations, which includes developing corporate partnerships. Jon graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelors degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. After obtaining his Registered Dietitian credentials, Jon served as an in-house dietitian for Sodexo in a large continuing care retirement community in Whitehall, PA. Jon joined Crandall in 2008 and has served as a Consultant Dietitian, Vice President of Regional Services, and Senior Vice President.
Theresa entered the senior living industry in 2003 as a CDM and DSD with Sunrise Senior Living focusing in the CCRC sector of the industry. Theresa joined the Crandall team in 2006 where she filled multiple responsibilities such as recruiting, training development, consulting, and served as a corporate liaison for the company. In 2010, she continued to expand her career growth working as a Divisional Director Dining Services for Emeritus Senior Living which eventually became Brookdale Senior Living. In 2017, Theresa rejoined the Crandall team and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Menu Operations. Theresa has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from New Mexico State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.
As Vice President of Menu Services & Technology, Nancy oversees administration of the sales, marketing, customer service, and training for Crandall’s menu systems. She is also responsible for website design, development, and support of the Crandall websites and our internal document management system. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education/Office Sciences from Northwestern College in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and then further developed her project management, computer, and technology experience through the fields of Healthcare Information Technology, publishing, non-profits, agriculture and retail before joining Crandall in 2007. She believes building lasting partnerships and a commitment to excellence are the keys to a productive and successful business. Originally from the upper Midwest, Nancy and her family definitely prefer the Arizona sun.
As Vice President of Menu Development, Terry leads a menu development team that sources and occasionally tests new recipes, updates multiple menus seasonally and develops all dietary components for menus to all care types; assuring regulatory compliance. Terry received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from The University of Arizona, is a registered dietitian and has over 25 years of public and private food service management experience. Outside of work, Terry’s interests include traveling, hiking, honing my cooking skills with new recipes and practicing for a new-found challenge in running mini marathons.
Donnell has held several Corporate level Dietitian positions within long term care and assisted living industries prior to joining Crandall Corporate Dietitians. During her career she developed skills in clinical systems, menu development, procurement, policy development, recruitment, peer to peer training, budget control, and public speaking. In 2016 Donnell returned to the Crandall team as Divisional Dietitian where she filled multiple responsibilities such as clinical charting, training, and auditing. Currently Donnell fills the role of Vice President of Community Systems Implementation. Donnell graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics.
As the Vice President of Staff Development, Sue is responsible for training Crandall dietitians. She is involved in all areas of training including being the voice of our video tutorials, phone consultations for new and ongoing trainees and on site visits wherever needed. With her years of experience serving in communities and energetic personality, Sue provides effective, relatable instruction.
As Vice President of Regulatory Compliance, Rhonda ensures the Crandall Long-Term Care communities throughout the nation are in compliance with Federal, State, JCAHO and County regulations. She is responsible for providing training and support to all Crandall dietitians and diet technicians.
Rhonda was born and raised in Needham, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Nutrition. She began her career as a Food Service Director, then troubleshooter for very upscaled long term care communities in MA, NH and VT. Rhonda then went on to do a 3 year working internship at a large teaching hospital and became a registered dietitian. Her career with Crandall began over 26 years ago. Rhonda feels working for Crandall Corporate Dietitians has allowed her to follow her dream of raising the bar for residents in senior living communities. Rhonda enjoys animals and the outdoors, but most of all, her husband and son.
